Sharing Experience & Visit Program on ‘Ethnic Minority Issues, Agricultural Activities, Echo-Diversity and Development of Tourism related issues in Philippines and Singapore under Bandarban Hill District Council (BHDC)

Narrative Description of the Project:

Bandarban Hill District Council (BHDC) under the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs was eager to change the lifestyle of the people of the ethnic Minorities of the Bandarban Hill Tract by better knowledge and employment & occupation. In this regard BHDC intended to have an exposer and be experienced by visiting and sharing experience with government officials of Philippines and Singapore. For that reason, IPTM organized and implemented this Sharing Experience & Visit Program on “Ethnic Minority Issues, Agricultural Activities, Echo-Diversity and Development of Tourism related issues in Philippines and Singapore” from June to August 2018 for 09 (nine) participants.  

 

Key Activities:

  • Design, development and delivery of the briefing session 
  • Collection of Government Order (G.O.) and Note Verbal
  • Identification of program objectives
  • Assistance for Passport renewal or issue, visa processing and Air-ticket
  • Health and travel insurance assistance
  • Pre-departure formalities 
  • Airport Coordination and accommodation arrangement
  • Arranged Welfare guide & translator and land surface transport in Philippines & Singapore
  •  Arranged refreshment, working lunch with welcome and closing dinner
  • Orientation to the course / program in Philippines & Singapore
  • Arrangement of expert-led lecture session in Philippines & Singapore
  • Arrangement of the appointments, meetings and field visit with relevant officials
  • Sightseeing and cultural tours
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the program
  • Program report development and delivery
