Sharing Experience & Visit Program on ‘Development of Higher Education for Ethnic Minorities’ in China, Malaysia and Singapore under Bandarban Hill District Council (BHDC)

Narrative Description of the Project:

Bandarban Hill District Council (BHDC) under the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs was eager to change the lifestyle of the people of the ethnic Minorities of the Bandarban Hill Tract by better knowledge and employment & occupation. For this BHDC determined to provide higher education to the ethnic minorities of Bandarban so that they can cop-up with other people of the country and develop themselves. In this regard BHDC intended to have an exposer and be experienced by visiting and sharing experience with government officials of China, Malaysia and Singapore. For that reason, IPTM organized and implemented this Sharing Experience & Visit Program on ‘Development of Higher Education for Ethnic Minorities’ in China, Malaysia and Singapore from June to September 2018 for 10 participants.  

 

Key Activities:

  • Design, development and delivery of the briefing session 
  • Collection of Government Order (G.O.) and Note Verbal
  • Identification of program objectives
  • Assistance for Passport renewal or issue, visa processing and Air-ticket
  • Health and travel insurance assistance
  • Pre-departure formalities 
  • Airport Coordination and accommodation arrangement
  • Arranged Welfare guide & translator and land surface transport in Singapore, Malaysia and China
  • Arranged refreshment, working lunch with welcome and closing dinner
  • Orientation to the course / program in Singapore, Malaysia and China
  • Arrangement of expert-led lecture session in Singapore, Malaysia and China 
  • Arrangement of the appointments, meetings and field visit with relevant officials
  • Sightseeing and cultural tours
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the program
  • Program report development and delivery
