Training Program titled ‘Project Management & Procurement’ in Malaysia under Department of Livestock Services (DLS)

Narrative Description of the Project:

National Agricultural Technology Program Phase-II Project (NATP-2) was one the largest project of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. For this the staffs of this project needed to manage the project efficiently. They also needed to procure a huge amount of instrument and other materials. The core objective of this program was to increase the capability of the project staffs on project management and procurement. For this IPTM organized this training program from June- September 2018 under National Agricultural Technology Program Phase-II Project (NATP-2), Department of Livestock Services, Ministry of Fisheries & Livestock in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur). A total of 10 (ten) government officials attended the program.

 

Key Activities:

  • Design, development and delivery of the briefing session 
  • Collection of Government Order (G.O.) and Note Verbal
  • Identification of program objectives
  • Assistance for Passport renewal or issue, visa processing and Air-ticket
  • Health and travel insurance assistance
  • Pre-departure formalities 
  • Airport Coordination and accommodation arrangement
  • Arranged Welfare guide & translator and land surface transport in Kuala Lumpur and Outskirts, Malaysia
  • Arranged refreshment, working lunch with welcome and closing dinner
  • Orientation to the course / program in Malaysia
  • Arrangement of classroom-based training session in Kuala Lumpur and Outskirts, Malaysia
  • Arrangement of the appointments, meetings and field visit with relevant officials
  • Sightseeing and cultural tours
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the program
  • Program report development and delivery
